Practice Changes
NO PRACTICE for Stroke School groups, Gold & Silver groups, or the Junior Group on Monday due to Labor Day.
Senior Group: There has been a change to the Senior Group practice schedule on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. Please click here for an updated Senior Group practice schedule.
Junior Group: Junior Group will follow their normal practice schedule all week beginning Tuesday. The Junior Group is reminded that they should bring appropriate dryland clothes on Wednesday and Friday of this week and they should have a water bottle every day.
Gold & Silver: Gold and Silver will follow their normal practice schedule all week beginning Tuesday.
HS Prep: High School Prep will follow their normal practice schedule all week beginning Wednesday.
Level 1, Level 2, & Bronze: Level 1, Level 2, and Bronze will follow their normal practice schedule all week beginning Tuesday with 1 EXCEPTION. On Saturday, September 12th, practice will be from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at Blacksburg Aquatic Center.
Upcoming Meets and Special Events
The Team Picnic will be held Sunday, September 20th from 1:00-4:00 PM at Shawnee Swim Club. All families, new and returning, should plan to attend. At our annual team picnic we pass out team shirts and swim caps to all of our registered swimmers, take a team photo, we have food and games available and it is a great opportunity to meet the other families on the team. In addition, we will have representatives from the NRVA board available to answer questions and provide information on volunteering and fundraising, as well other general team information. Please plan to attend and check the website regularly for more information on the upcoming team picnic!
The Stroke School meet schedule is available under the 'Stroke School' page of our website. We want as many Stroke School participants as possible. These meets are great opportunities for the swimmers to showcase the new skills they have acquired, track their progress as they get faster, and have fun in a swim meet atmosphere!
The Lynchburg Meet will be held the weekend of October 9th-11th. Online Registration is available under the 'Meets' page. Olympic Development groups should sign up online if they plan to attend. The signup deadline for this meet is Sunday, September 27th, but please sign up early if possible.
